This policy explains what personal information Pixton Media Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects when you use pixtonmedia.com or get in touch with us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for this information.
Who we are
Pixton Media Ltd is a wedding photography and film studio based in Telford, United Kingdom. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@pixtonmedia.com or on +44 7427 630 122.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your wedding date, venue, the service you're interested in and your message.
When you email, phone or message us directly, we keep that correspondence.
When you book us, we also keep the details needed to plan and deliver your photography or film and to invoice you.
When you browse the site, we collect anonymous usage statistics, and, only if you accept cookies, advertising data through the Meta Pixel (see “Cookies” below).
How we use it, and why we're allowed to
- To reply to your enquiry and send you information you've asked for: this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To plan, photograph, film and deliver your wedding, and to invoice you: this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial records we're required by law to keep: legal obligation.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it: our legitimate interests, using anonymous statistics only.
- To measure our advertising and show our work to people on Facebook and Instagram: your consent, which you give by clicking “Accept” on our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
We never sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Vercel, which hosts this website and provides anonymous visitor statistics.
- Resend, which delivers the emails sent from our contact form.
- Our email provider, where we receive and store your messages.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), only if you accept cookies, for advertising measurement.
- Vimeo or YouTube, when you choose to play one of our films embedded on the site.
- Our accountant, for invoices and financial records.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
Cookies
Our website uses:
- Essential storage, to remember your cookie choice. This is strictly necessary and is always on.
- Anonymous analytics from Vercel, which counts visits without using cookies or identifying you.
- Advertising cookies from the Meta Pixel, which lets us see which visits came from Facebook or Instagram, measure enquiries, and show our work to people who have visited the site. These are only set if you click “Accept”.
You can change your choice at any time here: . You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don't lead to a booking only for as long as we need to respond and follow up. For couples who book with us, we keep your details for as long as needed to deliver your wedding and galleries, and financial records for as long as UK law requires (currently six years).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email info@pixtonmedia.com. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
