Wedding Photography at Haughton Hall

Haughton Hall is a Grade II listed country house hotel on Haughton Lane in Shifnal, dating back to 1718 and set in around 35 acres of parkland and gardens. It's only a few minutes from our Telford base, so early bridal-prep starts are easy for us.

About Haughton Hall as a wedding venue

Haughton Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies. Couples can marry indoors in the banqueting suites or outdoors in a Victorian-style gazebo in the gardens. The Manor Suite has its own bar, dance floor and stage, the smaller Garden Suite suits intimate weddings, and a marquee can be set up in the gardens for larger celebrations. The hotel has bedrooms including four-poster suites, plus a leisure club for guests staying over.

Photo and film ideas at Haughton Hall

A garden gazebo ceremony gives a natural frame for your vows and a lovely spot for confetti as you walk back up the aisle. The Georgian house front suits family groups, and the parkland gives room for relaxed couple portraits away from guests. For film, an outdoor ceremony with the gardens behind you makes a beautiful opening to a highlight reel, and a stage in the Manor Suite helps us capture clear audio for speeches.
