Wellington sits right at the foot of The Wrekin, the hill that quietly dominates the Shropshire skyline and gives its name to the local saying that if you can see the Wrekin, it's about to rain — and if you can't, it already is. Locals aside, it's a genuinely striking backdrop for wedding portraits, and Wellington itself is only a few minutes from our Telford studio.
The market town's older streets and the surrounding countryside at the base of the hill both work well for photos, depending on whether you want a townscape or open green space in the background. We're happy to walk the route with you beforehand if a Wrekin portrait session is something you'd like on the day.
