Gosfield Hall Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Gosfield Hall is a historic manor house in the village of Gosfield near Halstead, once a royal residence, overlooking Gosfield Lake. Its oak-panelled gallery, with a long aisle for your ceremony, and the ornate Grand Salon make it one of north Essex's most elegant wedding venues.

Photo and film moments to plan for at Gosfield Hall

The oak-panelled gallery is the moment to plan for: its long aisle gives a beautiful processional, so we position for the walk in and your first look at each other. The Grand Salon's decorated ceiling and the house's period interiors suit timeless portraits, and in summer an outdoor ceremony on the carriageway and the views towards the lake give a lighter, open feel.

Timeline tips for a Gosfield Hall wedding

Period panelled rooms can be darker than they look, so we plan for low light and work discreetly during the ceremony. Plan family groups for outside the house if the weather allows, and leave time for a short portrait walk in the grounds before the wedding breakfast.

Our approach

We're a Telford-based wedding photographer and videographer team covering Essex. Our style is documentary first, with gentle direction for family groups and a short couple portrait session. In Essex, we photographed Phill and Amanda's wedding at Leez Priory, and you can see it in full on our website.

Prices and travel

Packages are fixed and all-inclusive: full-day wedding photography is £1,600 (up to 10 hours, 400+ edited photos), a cinematic wedding film is £1,600, and photo and film together is £3,000 with an engagement session included. Sneak peeks land within 48 hours; full galleries follow in 6–8 weeks.

We're based in Telford, so for Essex weddings we quote travel, and an overnight stay if your morning starts early, clearly when you enquire. You see the full figure before you book. See our Essex wedding photographer page for more Essex venues.
